A Bioremodeller is a product of high and low moleculcar weight Hyaluronic Acid, as its name suggests, it literally serves to remodel.

What is the difference between Bioremodelling injectables and fillers?

Fillers are intended to add volume and replace volume loss in the face.

Fillers may give you apple cheeks or a well-defined jawline and pointed chin.

Bioremodellers have smoothing and tightening affect throughout the tissues, the skin is said to glow.

Unlike fillers, Bioremodellers do not change the shape of your face or features.

Fillers resemble a gel, Bioremodellers have a runny consistency.

Are Bioremodellers for me?

Bioremodellers have proven benefits across every age group.

Young skin may be treated for beautification, hydration & prevention.

Older skin may be treated for tightening, soothing and & tissue support.

Ageing causes a reduction of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid in the skin which affects its structure and function. Impaired barrier function and hydration leads to sagging, greater pore size, wrinkles, loss of tissue turgor and other undesirable changes in skin quality.

Treatment expectations?

Numbing cream is applied before treatment, this is left for approx 15 mins.

The product is administered across 5 injection sites to each side of the face.

*Other treatment areas include the hands, neck, décolletage, orbit and perioral region.

Each treatment session usually takes around 10 minutes.

The product spreads like honey under the skin over the next 24 hours, dissipating through dermal layers.

Is there any downtime?

There is no downtime, you may have small little lumps under the skin initially (at the injection sites). These settle within hours.

It is advisable to avoid alcohol, aspirin or anti- inflammatory medication in the 24 hours before treatment.

Immediately after treatment you should avoid wearing make-up, and give sports, swimming and any other strenuous physical activity a miss for 24 hours.

It is also best to avoid saunas and steam rooms for a few days after treatment.

Any side effects?

As with any cosmetic treatment, side effects can occur.

You may experience pain, sensation of heat, redness, swelling or itching.

Hardening or nodules may appear at injection sites, this is unlikely.

Vascular occlusions are a potential risk.

When will I see results?

2 loading doses are done 4-6 weeks apart, this makes up the initial treatment.

A noticeable improvement in skin hydration, elasticity, facial volume and wrinkle reduction occurs approximately 4 weeks post second treatment.

Skin tightening, brightening, and improved texture and pigmentation is commonly reported.

Maintenance treatment?

Maintenance treatments may vary anywhere from 2-6 months, or up to 12 months. You must receive the 2 loading doses before maintainable dosing.

A suitable maintenance interval is dependant on the individual.

General Considerations

As with any anti-aging treatment, we seek to optimise youth, slow the progression of ageing and keep ourselves in check.

Anti-ageing treatments cannot prevent the ongoing and inevitable ageing process from occurring.

These processes will continue to happen over the top of any treatment clinicians provide.
